Dispelling the "Mail Order Bride" Myth

"Mail Order Brides" is an outdated concept and a term that should not apply to today's modern russian women looking for love online. In this day where growing numbers of people are using the internet to find their soul mates international dating is becoming much more common place and socially acceptable. After all, it should not matter if your heart finds happiness in with a beautiful woman in Russia or Ukraine, Kiev or Belarus, with the expanding internet we are all only keystrokes and clicks apart.

The concept of "Mail Order Brides" is hundreds of years old, when pioneers and settlers (mostly men) would purchase addresses or have marriages arranged from contacts overseas through postal mail. This was a drawn out and tedious process. Letters would take weeks on end to go between parties and was unfortuneatly not something that in all fairness could be described as dating or match making. Certainly not a term that could be applied to today's modern beauties- beautiful russian women seeking their love match online through russian dating agencies. After all, what is more appealing to a single young woman than an international affair with an attractive foreign man ::swoons::

There is nothing that might insult a prospective beautiful russian bride more than calling her a "M.O.B.". Everyone has the right to look for love, online or elsewhere. So remember, what you might not say to her in person at a bar or club you probably should not say to her in an email or cam chat session.
